Does putting sandbags in the back of your boat help you get more air off the wake? I know it makes a bigger wake but would your nose just stick into the water and go rite through the wake? _________________ Ride like its ur last |

if the nose of your board sticks into the water that means you are going too slow and the wake is falling on itself.
if you have more weight in the boat, the faster you should go.
your wake should be crisp at the top, not rounded or falling over itself (whitewater). |

| Sand bags may work ok....but i suggest in getting fat sacs because they can hold more weight and are easy to move...(plus thers no mess) |

Hmm well yes in theory given the right boat speed and weighting setup your wake would be bigger.. but the main concern with that is how much your going to put it.. because if its like 500kgs of sand vs 2 x 250L sacks your gonna have to tow it and its gonna be bloody hard to put in and out of the boat if you want to use it otherwise.. _________________ Riding

| I'm not sure I understand the answeres. The way I read the question I think he is referring to the nose of the board sticking in the wake when you pop, which shouldn't happen with proper edging technique. I've never heard anyone complain about a wake being to big (except for waterskiers and my newbie buddy who makes me empty the ballast) |

I ride behind a 23' sea fox and its made to be a fishing boat so it has 2 100 gallon live bait wells right in the back and its a simple way to add a bigger wake. _________________ I love the smell of napalm in the morning |

Where are you getting a $400 price tag on fat sacs?
I've found 700+ lb sacs for 80, a pump for 50, and a ski locker sac for 80
$210 is much < $400.... _________________ People should not be afraid of their governments.
