I want to add ateak swim platform to my 1998 Momba Outback. The original platform cracked and is kind of tacky anyways. I took it to the dealership for a tuneup and they said they could not do it. The platfoorm is attached to the boat with two l brackets. Is it possible to just buy a platform and attach it to the exisitning L brackets?

My friend has a business making replacement fiberglass platforms, if you are not stuck on having teak, this may be an option for you. You can call Boat Country and ask for Brent Lemke (209) 838-2628. Good luck.

send me pics of your old platform, I may take it off of your hands. I don't have one or the platform brackets, just have the transom brackets. Nobody knows where all of it is, 3rd owner now.

Let me know.

not to take any biz from ccryder's buddy, but there are other options out there, I have been trying to play with ideas for building one for my 97 outback. One company is "plasteak" not really teak, but not plastic. Looks like nice stuff, worth looking into.

I am still interested in your tacky cracked platform, or if you can help me with the dimensions of yours that would be great too.

Thanks

Hey, ccryder, Do you ride at Woodward? If so is it open yet? I'm going to be in Manteca this weekend, I heard the lake was closed for campground construction or something
