Yes, they have been made.

A weekend depending on length

Alot of $$$$$

Depends on tools and wood working experience.

im wondering about the same thing... i want to build something that you could potentially gap (that is to say fly over the flatbar and land on the other downside)... but i have no idea what dimensions and angles would make that possible...

i dont konw anywhere on the internet with slider plans.............. gah

bhamglassman, make them up.

There's most likely a few designs up for snowboard battleships. Couldn't be a whole lot different as far as angles and measurements go.

QNev, i will make some plans im just lookin for some tips before i build somethin that can't be gapped.

the prob im seein with takin snowboard rail designs to the water, is the fact that the speeds are totally different.. plus the fact that im gettin pulled by a boat not propelled by gravity, the arc u would have flying on a wakeboard would be a lot different than on a snowboard i would think.

They make foam billets. They're rectangular and come in a variety of sizes, I used a 2 foot by 8 foot one and cut it. They provide a ton of bouyancy and they are easy to use because of there shape. I used them for my slider and am very pleased with them. The only problem is that they cost some money.
