ACT scores

No, your a really good guesser, and they are just trying to make sure that you werent cheating. Either that or your score was so bad that they decided that it would be too traumatizing to give it back to you.

i havn't taken the act, but in 9th grade and got like a 1250

There's something called the PSAT given in those grades . Kinda sorta let's you know if you need to study harder or why waste a good saturday stuck in a room in the future

i took the ACT in 7th in a Duke University program called TIP which stands for Talent something something and i also took the PSAT this year(9th)

Oh ic. At my school we take the PSAT when we're sophomores. As freshmen we take some ghetto @$$ test called the NEDT. I have no clue what for, but thats the way my school does it.

What you take in CA is for each school district to rate the level of education the students have received. My understanding is that there has been funding given by the state to each district by the scores. So much for that theory now....I know there alot of people graduating from SDSU with a degree in teaching and no jobs available

Ya i go to a private school in cali and we take PSAT next year and had a weird career thing test it was called EXPLORE if i remember.

we took the EXPLORE test too...........next year we take the PLAn-----or maybe it was the other way around...i don't remember

it said i was gunna grow up to be a wakeboarding bum that lives on the lake with his board in a shopping cart and has a piece of cardboard that says "will work for rides" lol. i think it said engineer or something like that. I did really bad on it tho cuz i had to be at school an hour early

How would you even study for the ACT? Take it in 7th/9th grade? What's the point in that?

Taking practice tests and knowing what you are going to be tested on. I did really good on most of the test but absolutely bombed the science section, with a 19. I'm definately going to retake this test this fall.

Taking tests in early grades is pretty much pointless, but it was just kind of a fun thing to do.

there are stats showing if you take it every year from the time you are 7th grade till ur a senior, you will do better. and also if you got a certain score you got recognized, and it looks good on ur aplication to have the recognition.
