(i have already posted a topic on this but we have new plans)alright so im working on a slider...im no expert so i need advice...the total length is 40 ft...on both sides 6 feet of the rail will under water...then from the water to the top is another 6 feet...then it levels out for 16 feet in the middle...
i am wondering if a barrel at each end will keep it stable or should i put 2 at each side...also how much water should i put in it?im guessing half full will keep it halfway in the water which seems pretty good...ive never done this before so i dont want to sink it...and do the dimensions sound good?
Im confused is six feet of the rail under water? Other than that I would say two barrels at each end would make it real stable. Maybe you could cheat and put two at one end and one at the other, but I'm not sure that would work.
