Change from a bitmap to a jpeg??

Anyone know how to do this. I have a pic that HAS to go in my profile!!!

edit the image in MS paint, then go to save as, when you do that you should just move the little box that says *.BMT to *.JEPG

or you can just end it as .JPG

Or in any picture editing program for that matter, you just have to choose to save it as the desired type of picture.
