I read the whole thing it was helpful, I never thought of sandbags but im goin to the hardware store to get some now gracious

turfsk8r, Thanks so much man, I've been looking for a good tutorial on this. Sandbags would be great to weight down our bow. Sacs are too pricy and we have so many sandbags left over from the winter. Thanks again!

Dang that helps a LOT! I have a Hurricane deckboat, so I know i need some better wake..

Where can i get some sandbags? Maybe raid St.Louis or where ever it was Katrina hit? Rolling Eyes

Interesting...
The problem with me is, my mom is into serious slalom skiing.
Is there any way to use sandbags to make the wake smaller?
Other wise she'll never let me take them on the boat, lol.

hey guys thanks I'm glad it helped. as far as cheap weight. check out water bed liners. They aren't as convinent as a fat sac but you can get a single water bed liner for $20. You don't want anything bigger than a single. You will want a bag or a box to stick it in.
