Maybe so, however it seemed like he was casting the net rather broadly. Actually, I wasn't sure what he was trying to convey, I was just doing my best to infer his point. Have fun with your Cal-Air this season, hopefully you can bump it up to a mack daddy Pro-V later this summer. Talk to you later.

You can't say anything bad about our boats. You and X-star started a boat war that you can't win. Hey, I hope I didn't offend your parents by talking bad about their boat. Tell them I am sorry. I am sure that they just bought the boat because it was what you wanted.

You're right Dragon88, Nautiques do rule. For skiing and footin' the 'sport' is a great boat. But for boarding? I think you bought your Sport Nautique for the braggin' rights, not the wake. A sport is not a WB boat, no matter what tower you stick on it. Drive a v-drive sometime and you'll see what I mean. Us non-CC drivers are loving our WB boats with all the bells and whistles that came factory installed. Unlike your sport. And if you got your sport new? That explains why you're such a vocal Nautique lover. Has to be love to settle for a compromise in WB performance. Particularly in light of the fact that you could likely have gotten a new non-CC WB boat for the same money. And gotten a v-drive, tower, stereo, ballast, and cool original graphics. Youch! Cool

Wow, that’s funny....RanMan, I will guarantee that my boat probably throws a better, firmer, and larger wake than your boat. Also I didn’t buy it for bragging rights I’m not a Nautique Snob (those last comments were a joke; I believe each to his own). Unlike you who seem to be a Centurion snob. Yea ski boat right….. That’s why it towed the world and national wakeboarding events in 99….I see your logic… ooh wait it really doesn’t exist.

“As I’ve said, you have the greatest boat in the whole freaking world!! Man I am so envious; please let me ride behind your Centurion!!!” Yea…. As you can tell I’m pretty bad at lying….

All I’m saying, RanMan, enjoy what you have while you can (before your boat starts to completely fall apart), and I will enjoy my “ski” boat just fine. I have no problems. Do you have any problems??

Ok so we can both agree that set aside the hundreds of people Centurion has screwed over, they make a very solid and perfect product. Nothing can even compare to the quality of the centurions.

RanMan what even did the avalanche pull last year?

Nothing? Ok my bad…

Good times and keep the boat war rolling, because you act like a 3 yr. old.

Later,
DRAGON88

I think that the Centurion owners should stay away from the boat wars and go play with a chopper gun.

You guys give me a reason to get up in the morning. So the sport pulled the boarding events in '99? Give me a break. That's 4 years ago. Maybe Nautique hasn't changed anything since then, but as I've stated, you need to check out the new boats out there. There is no sport pulling anything but skiers these days, and if so, the organizers can only say, 'Thanks for the free boat CC!'. Let's not debate the who pulls what thing. If Volkswagen wanted to sponsor a tourney, you'd be trying to board behind a beetle. The big three are older, established companies no doubt. Also no doubt is that tourney sponsorship is a huge financial commitment. The big three are the few out there with the resources to invest in that forum. The others have to make their way on quality and innovation. As for wakes, it's pointless to try to compare them. There are no objective criteria you can use. Firmness? Just how are you measuring that? Size? Once again, how are you measuring that? So, are you using stock ballast in your sport? Or taking up all the deck area with fat sacs? I mean, c'mon. Yours is a great boat. Ski boat that is. Cool as it is, you got no props at the dock next to any other manufacturers dedicated WB boat. You're smoked. Live with it. Cool

Hey, Cal Air! I'm on your side. You got a great WB boat. Ya gotta represent for the non-CC crowd.

This has to be one of the funniest threads I've read in a long time Mr. Green I think they should make a boat war section so everyone can slam on each others boats - That way threads like "Cal-Air Pro-V Which graphic do you prefer?" can actually be about which graphics people prefer.. Wink

You cant go wrong with a Calabria.. I know I like the extra $ in my pocket V.S. bragging rights. And, yes, I *used* to own a Master Craft. The Calabria I own now is in great condition, and feels every bit as solid as the MC I used to own.. perhaps more. More people need to learn that you dont have to buy a Lexus to get Lexus quality.

Hey, I think calibria boats are awsome, the marrina where i might be getting a job this summer, used to sell Alpina (correct me if im wrong, but calibria and alpina used to be the same boats.)

one more thing and RanMan, beacuse quite frankly i hope that you dont wake up in the morning Twisted Evil I got my baby new fresh off the showroom floor. as far as wake, well bring both boats and have people ride behind both boats, not us that would be biast, and see which wake they like better.

Sorry, Dragon, been there, done that. Now, my buddy's sport has no tower, but wake? Great for skiing, since that's what it's made for. Footing too. But for boarding? Not bad, not great. Maybe you're putting 2000 lbs of ballast in yours as well your buds. Something I don't deal with. Stock ballast and room for all. That's my schwing.
BTW,
Maybe a job at the marina this summer huh? Wax on, wax off? I smell a daddy's boat somewhere....Is that a 'my baby' or 'my daddy's baby'? Youch!
Cool

Luxury loan for a 14 year old even with a cosigner is impossible. Cosigners only help when your credit is bad. You still have the income to support the loan. Sorry Kid. When I was 14 I had my own Jetski but I was proud to drive my parent's boat.

I don't care if your parent is Bill Gates, you cannot have a boat loan in your name until you are a legal adult.
