wakerider23234, to be truly happy, I would forget the notion of a cheap speaker all together combined with a cheap amp. If its the look you are going for, fine; but if it is the sound and quality you are wanting/expecting, then save your money for a year. put what money you would have spent on "cheap" speakers and amps into a piggy bank, and save. The way I see it, is there is only one way to go with this. You should go with an NVS speaker, and a quality amp such as Kicker, JL Audio etc etc to push them. Although these speakers are power hungry, they are quality and you wont be let down in the future. There is two things to learn from my post: 1) You get what you pay for, and 2) Good things come to those who wait. It is like going into battle with a no name condom company; sure it seems like a good idea at the time, but the fallout from the bomb you drop will always be with you long after the battle is over.

wakerider23234, Blake is right on one point. You get what you pay for when it comes to audio. However, if hearing your speakers when you ride is what you want, there is another option. We just released our new line of tower speakers after 2.5 years of development. www.wetsounds.com If cost is an issue. Look at the PRO80, I feel it is the best sounding best value tower speaker on the market, bar none. It is also very efficient. So you will not need as big of an amp to push them. I would recommend going with a quality amp. If you skimp on the amp, you could run into an issue with it over heating and failing on you. And you don't want to deal with that while you are out on the water having a good time. www.wetsounds.com[/url]
