Tip for those with the iRiver waterproof MP3 player

Ok, I love my new iRiver IFP-799. What I didn't like about it was having to use the iRiver software. What I did was flash the firmware to UMS (Universal Mass Storage software). What this does it enables you to plug the player into any pc, and it just shows up like a USB key, or another driver letter. You then just drag and drop songs, like it should be.

**Warning, it wipes all your songs off the player, so be sure your music is backed up***

Good to know Vampyre. I don't mind the iriver interface, but I upgraded anyways. It'll be convenient if a friend has music I don't, or if I need to get a file off someone's computer who doesn't have the software.
