Well, I think I finally have my dad interested in getting a new boat . He was browsing online for deals today and came across an '06 supra launch 21v $42,595. It is being sold thru a dealer called Premier Motorsports in Michigan, so it doesn't seem like a dealer would try to pull a scam. The only thing is that 21v's start at $45,595. It has all the standard options, plus some options. Here is their description:
| Quote: | | 2006 Supra Launch 21V, 21' 2'' Gives you that full custom look right from the factory! Lots of new updates and killer graphics. Leave a wake wherever you go this season, and a big impression on the competition. Loaded with standards including 325hp MPI Indmar, Billet dash, Kenwood waterproof stereo, stadium seating, three color gel coat, custom graphics, tandem axle trailer with swing tongue and stainless fenders and so much more!! Options include Amplifier with billet tower speakers, Red bow and cockpit covers, red bimini top and billet tower mirror. Call today!!!! |
I'm not sure if it has PP, but I thought that was included.
So, I guess what I'm asking is, how is this DEALER selling a new '06 21v w. some options for under the MSRP?

| $45,595 is Retail price for the boat. $42,595 is the minimum ad price, the price at which most competitive dealers put their boats at. If someone came to my dealership, that is the starting price I would quote as well. $42,595 should include no extra options though. Advertising that price with additional options is against their dealer agreement. If caught, they could get into some trouble with the manufacturer.

elyse, I don't see why you would go all the way to Michigan when there is a great dealer right in your back yard? I'm sure Ron at Aqua Marine will do you right on price and he'll be there for service....which is key. Good Luck!

h2obug, check yours...
NAW, I talked to my dad more today and he said he would rather support a local dealer if he could get just as good of a deal. He is a BIG bargain shopper
We'll be looking around for a while before we finally decide. Thanks for the help everyone.

wakeboarddrumma - you can pick between 1 of 4 different graphics on every Supra. They are Gothic(as shown above), Claw, Flames, and Supra Swoosh. The boat above is not a 21V because of the blue stripe above the ss rubrail. Might be a 22SSV. I love how they screwed the graphics in place with the big screws

Wakeboarddrumma, yeah like h2o said, there are different graphic options. Thursday sounds good.
I think we will wait until the middle-end of this season (or at least the competition season ) to make a final decision. Mi padre still isn't totally sure what he wants to do. I'll be patient
