I wouldnt worry about size as much as I would be concerned about shape and wake characteristics... and also getting on plane fast enough...length doesnt mean very much for the wake is more about how deep into the water the boat actually goes...

My dad has a sealine S34, and I tried wakeboarding behind it. Its possible ,but its not very nice. The planing speed is way too high, the wake is very foamy on the lip and just full of serious turbulance inside the wake, and if you stay there for longer than a minute or two the diesel fumes will kill you.

Really not worth bothering with at all. The worst boat I've ever gone behind by a long long way.
