ACT scores

i got a composite of 27. i was hoping to get around a 29 but i guess i'll have to do better next time. damn the reading....i got a 24 on that section Sad

how'd everyone else do?

ACT? I thought they were gonna faze that test out for the SAT! Man they were talkin' about that when I was in high school (trust me, it was a while ago).

i dont know about ACT but on the SAT i scored ~ a 1230 and im in 9th grade

I took some stupid test thats supposed to predict your SAT and ACT scores. It said i was supposed to get a 1200 SAT and a 29 ACT, which is really messed up cuz im in the top 1 percent of the nation.

Schools in Ca don't take ACT's. So I never took them. I got a 1160 on my SAT's. Should have taken them twice but I got into all the schools I applied to with that... My GPA and athletics helped a lot.

I heard some schools are gonna star accepting the ACTs instead of the SATs, but it was probably just a rumor.

i hate big tests like that, i get decent grades in classes but when it comes to the act sat and stuff i suck

I haven't got mine back yet, but I got about an 1100 on the SAT in 7th grade. I'm hoping for a 28+ considering I did no preparing for it.

i got a 26 on my 1st & only act attempt. sitting in a room with 50 other people taking some standardized test is my idea of spending a very early sat. morning Mad

i got a 33 on my science section, 24 on math, 28 on reading...and i cant remember the other one.. Razz

standardized tests suck....so retarded Mad

bogger & jello - i hate you both!! those scores are awesome! i got an 1150 at the beginning of this year... i need atleast like a 1300 to get into the schools that i like to balance off my sh!tty grades from this year

Any body here suck are reading section or language in general. i can get high scores in all sections but language becaue of the short time.

just took mine today... i was projected to get a 27, but who knows. Math and science were a breeze, but the reading owned me. Im taking some Illinois state standadized test tomorrow. its total bullcrap.. colleges dont even look at it. It means absolutely nothing, so i have decieded for the essay. Which the test has, no matter what they give me to write about, im just going to write about satan and his many influences on the american people/goverment. it will be exactly 666 words also, i shall have some fun.

there is no point. Illinois is trying to make colleges in illinois, only accept this test as an entrance testing score. but non of hte colleges will do so.

Oh well, some ideas for the test might be to make up fake statistics saying how many people worship satan and making up some fake stories that talk of government officials joing devil cults. But i think you've got it covered.

MR. C... I did mention satan. But the topic they gave me was teacher of the year. So i decieded to stick to it and say how this is a myth, there is no such thing. Because teachers are forced to give us stuff standardized test....... Then i went on to write about how the only thing high school is for is to brainwash us and what not.

No, I wish that was true, but I know I missed at least a couple of questions. Well, more than a couple. Boy I wish I would've studied! Sad
