Hey,

I was looking at getting into wakeskating, im a decent wakeboarder and a decent skateboarder so thought I would give it a go this spring.

I've been looking at wakeskates and decided I want a Concave board in the size range of 40-41. (I'm 5'10 - 137lbs) Can't Decide on Foam or Grip (Might just go with Foam)

I have been checking out different ones but the Liquid Force Anthem 2006 looks like a nice board for the price to get into wakeskating.

http://www.liquidforce.com/skates_anthem.htm

Now is this board a true concave? It says concave in the decription but in the video clip about the board it says its flat?

Anyways any thoughts on this board?

The deal with this skate is that it is a regular 9 ply flat deck but it has a 3D hard foam on top that makes concave shape.... so as far as you know when your riding it is that it is a concave shape.... its a great value

LF pro skater Steve Schoenhals rides it as his #1 stick

Hey man thanks for the reply and information.

Hmm not sure if I like the foam shaped as concave, if I ever wrecked the foam and had to get it re-foamed or wanted to switch to grip would lose the concave.
