Wow. A full 16 cylinders. Geez...That isn't even a wakeboarding boat anymore, in my opinion. _________________ I walk 47 miles of barb wire, I got a cobra snake for a necktie, a brand new house up on the road side, and it's made out of rattlesnake hide |

| People tend to make fun of this boat. I personally love the X-80 and would welcome it into my home with love and care. The thing is awesome. Huge, expensive and awesome. |

That is one big mama jamma right there!! I wouldn't kick it away. But I can think of alot better things to spend over 100k on. New truck and new 21V.
It holds 110gallons of fuel!!!! Christ that would cost $250 to fill up !!! Yep, I'm out. |

I bet it runs for all of 3 hours on that too haha
I can't afford the gas... let alone the boat... _________________ www.AxisBoats.co.uk | www.Malibu-Boats.co.uk |

I saw one at the dealer last year. It's huge, the pics don't do it justice for getting an idea of the size. People have to remember that boats are stupid luxury items that can be really expensive.
One of the dealers here in town posted some pics of some boats in storage down in Florida after a recent trip there. There were some big fountain cig type boats on the racks with twin and tripple engine with legs. The comment was the legs of these boats probably cost what we pay for a top of the line wakeboard boat. When you're talking high end boats, the boats we think are expensive are a drop in the bucket in comparison. |

Bambamski, super true post. Awesome point. Boats indeed often can be luxury items. Sometimes I wonder if I am a madman for taking a loan out for mine since it is a luxury item and I make a pretty modest living. But I absolutey love being out there with my friends & family and life does not get better than those moments out on mine. Ever.
So, your point is that the x80 is just slightly more ostentatious than the typical wake boat. And to be clear, I still would give my left arm for one. That just leaves one leg that I'd owe... I dont know what it is about it... I guess it is a combination of things. But it really is a yacht among our standard fleet of wake boats. What remains to be seen is whether or not that is a good thing or bad thing. Personally, lil old me, I absolutely love it. I love the concept of a wakeboarding yacht. It gives me GOALS!

Pilot_Rider yes, that was the Hyperactive website after their recent trip for the Tige open or something?
A couple of years ago JK sent me some pics of his vacation from Parker. It was funny, he had a pimped out 24V sent there for him to use and bring back to town. He pulled up to the launch feeling pretty good about himself until he was in line with 34 foot twin engine fountains w/tripple axles pulled by those just as pimped out mini semi's. He said he felt like the little guy at the launch pulling up with the little aluminum 10hp boat in comparison.
Erik, I agree
When my wife and I are hanging out, floating in the middle of the lake without a ripple, the kids diving and swimming around the boat. That's what it's all about. We call those days our 100 thousand dollar days because we've spent at least that, acually more on the boat, truck to pull it and all the gear. It seems like a deal, almost cheap when you really think about... |

| Im with Eric, bring her on to daddy. That is the fastest, largest, and most maneuverable boat In the wake world. It beats the 190 out the hole shot and can rotate 360 degrees (sitting still, not full speed) without ever having to move forward. That is were the twins have the advantage though. I believe you can catch the video of it on the MC web site. However, if I had the money for that boat I dout I would spend my days on wakeboarder.com. |

| SouthWaker, I still would. It is called addiction. But yeah - I couldnt have said it better myself. Bring her to daddy. If MC ever needed me to borrow one of those to review for my site - I would be happy to oblige. The thing is amazing. I can't wait to drool on one later this month at the boat show. |
