Hey I was just wondering if the sea doo wake board boats were any good? In perticular the challenger x and the speedster wake.I am a beginner also if that helps.

first try looking at some older posts about the seadoo boats they talk about them alot

Do a search on this and you will find that they are not good wakeboats. I would say that you probably couldn't do much worse except possibly no boat at all. The wake sucks you can pull them around and holding speed is a nightmare.

Get an older inboard direct drive or v-drive and you will be much happier. My suggestions would be

Nautique Super Sport 1995 and up is when they were made.

Mastercraft 90's 205V or 205(direct drive)

Malibu VLX or older sunsetter or echelon

There are other boats as well but these would be good to start your search with.

Sorry for any highjack but why on earth did wakeboarding mag even consitter running one of their ads. I don't think anyone that works for that company really wakeboards. I mean it is like advertising a Kia in a Corvette owners mag. Maybe I'm out of line here but they even had the nerve to show a guy pulling a tantrum at the bottom of the page. The boat was not in the shot though and I would not be surprised I witnessed false advertisement right there.
