I started on my slider a couple of weeks ago.Its just the basic a frame right now, no plywood or pvc yet.we took it to the lake to float test it and with no water in the barrels it would try and turn upside down.it did this till we got the barrels about 3/4s full.is this to much water in the barrels?how am i supposed to tow this thing out from the landing to set it up if it keeps rolling over?it looks kind of like this one but has a slight kick up at the end.it totals about 15ft long.how much weight will i need roughly to anchor this thing down so the boat wake wont move it when we go by?I planned to anchor 4 corners.has anyone experianced this problem?

How deep is the lake?
i would put some lead or cement bricks around the frame
i would guess 100-200 pounds
sounds fun man
good luck

it varies in depth were we ride but im guessing 30ft at the deepest point in the cove. were we plan to put it, its about 12-15ft.the lake at its deepest point is a little over 300ft.i only can make an asumption based on the lake being real low at this time and basesed on the slope of the land.i dont have a depth finder yet

As long as the slider floats when your riding over it there isn't to much water in the barrels. I have a floiting slider and i just push it out ot where we want it and drp the anchors. It doesn't take much to move them. For anchors i only had to use two 5 gallon buckets filled with concrete and my slider is about the same length but the lake usually isn't that windy. Hope this helps.
