Honestly I barely remember. I was doing some searches on Wakeboarding when I was looking to buy a boat. I had wakeboarded but wanted info on how to set up a boat. I remember doing a search on Wakeboard boat questions, and stumbled across here. Signed up right then, and now you get me to leave. MUAH HA HA HA HA

I was looking for used boats on wakeworld.com and got bored with their site and layout. Then there was a post on that forum about here...I came here and checked it out and loved it since....Barely go back to wakeworld now!

Actually Ryan at American Boat Center told me about both WakeWorld.com and Wakeboarder.com, and said they're both assets to beginneers when I first started riding last year.

I was searching for information on boats when I stumbled upon wb.com. I saw a discussion and then decided to sign up so I could ask questions about boats...

| I was just typing random wakeboard related things into a URL. Wakeboard.com didnt exist at the time, neither did Wakeboarding.com, Wakeboarder.com, 3rd time's the charm. Found some cool trick tips and a video of Adam Fields doing the sweetest indy tantrum I have ever seen.

Looked up wakeboarding vids years ago to see how tricks were done in about 2001/02
I remember seeing Charlie Pattersons wake to wake toeside jump, and was absolutly wowed. Then joined the ol forums, they went down, so I thought the site was gone forever.

It all started from something that not too many people are familiar with called the WAKELIST. Pat was the man back in 95....One of the original Wakelisters still around.

One night, I just decided that there must be a wakeboard something on the web. So, I typed in wakeboarder.com just to see if anything came up. And all of the sudden....

| Another vote for the WakeList. I remember the good ol' days of getting 50-100 messages a day in my inbox from the WakeList. Back then, the only message board I visited regularly was the Y2Kp board... WB.com has come a long way! I can't remember when I was on the WakeList, but it had to be '98 or so. I know there are a lot of people out there that were on it YEARS before I though.

| I was stalking Pat McCarthy for years, then ran into some legal trouble, so now the closest I can get to him is on this site.

| Well I remember it was august of 03 and I broke my arm during the peak of wake season so I was bummed and I think I was just surfing the net and typing in random URLs like NWRider. Not entirely sure though.
