It says the tower and two board racks are $279????

Mis print...price is for board rack only.

Order it and request the entire package. If they dont comply thats false advertising.

Misprint or not its their mistake and they should have caught it.

the price might be a misprint but i dont think its for just the board racks, it says they are built in, and it looks like they provide structural support

Yeah, the board racks look like they're part of the tower. It does look simple though, that could be the real price.

My guess is that the price is supposed to be 1,279.99, not 279.99

Unfortunately they do have this posted on their site, so if it is a typo they might be able to get out of selling it for $279.99...but ya never know 'til ya try I guess....

I showed it to my brother in law/riding buddy/boat owner.
We are about to tackle a DIY tower project.
He tried to buy it.
He said they put a hold on that order number.
And there should be a 1 in front of the price. Sad

I talked with the guy yesterday and tried to order it. At first he was yeah its only 279 for the tower, then I asked about shipping, he said 6 lbs, I said that doesnt sound like enough for a tower, he put me on hold for about 10 mins came back and said he talked to his manager and it is only the board rack. Board racks are built in on the tower shown but Xtreme makes other towers that dont have built in racks
As for them having to honor it unfortunatley they dont, if there is a mis-print in advertising they dont have to honor it, there is a case that just went through court concerning a 32" TV amazon advertised for $99 or something like that, anyway a guy sued and said they had to honor it, they didnt according to the judge.
