| GoWakeboard, not necessarily...most right handers I know including myself are left foot forward. Think of which foot you put forward when sliding across the kitchen floor or if that doesnt help...have a friend push you from behind when your not expecting it and see which foot goes forward to stop you from falling. Hope that helps! |

| I'm right handed and I ride left foot front its all comes down to what you feel is comfortable normally you will find out as soon as you get on the water. Strap your board on and see what you think its not hard to figure out. |

well, I'm right handed and ride Right ff, and my brother and father both do the same. I also have another buddy that is right handed and Right ff. It doesn't really have much to do with the nt hand I don't think (I also have many Right handed Left ff) _________________ Keep Austin Weird |

| it doesnt matter just whatever youre most comfortable with. since it sounds like you dont have much boardsport experience try and switch your front foot around. it will help you out a lot later if you can ride with both feet forward(but not at the same time although thats cool too) |

| I skate regular and wakeboard goofy...so it's not neccesarily the same, but I usually just push my friends when they aren't expecting it to find out their foot. |

im the same as Ctipping with the whole skate regular and wakeboard goofy, when you put trousers on see which leg you put in first or which foot you put down first when you jump out of bed! _________________ There's nothing like a good old faceplant to wake you up in the morning! |

There's something really wierd going on with my wife. She's more comforatble RIGHT foot forward on a WB. However I later noticed that she wakesurfs LEFT foot forward. Then we started snowboarding, and she just can't seem to find which foot is best forward ...
I think I'll go sneek up on her and push her from behind. I'll report on that later.

The Headless Chicken is right. If you are not committed to one foot or the other right now. Try using both at different times. Its like growing up in a house that speaks chinese and english. You learn both and tricks will be a lot easier for you. When I was teaching my kids, I would make them ride switch all day on saturday and normal the next day. good luck |

| The first time you get up see which way it feels more natural to have forward. Then when you wreck because it felt funny you'll try the other foot forward and wreck even harder because that foot was definitely the wrong foot. I've seen it happen over and over and over. . . |

| stand on your head stick out your tongue close your eyes and spin around three times. stand up open your eyes and youll see either regular or goofy. wtf is with all these tripped out ways of deciding what foot forward you are. try and do both equally when youre learning. if youre against that for whatever reason and dont seem to have a natural dominant foot forward then youre regular. |

Please elaborate, I would love to know your logic. |

im right handed and ride left foot in front...don't really know how i found out which foot to stick up there....jus got up and it was the one that felt the most comfotable. Just go with what is most comfortable...but i agree...riding both ways in the beginning will defintely pay off in the long run. i already have made that mistake. _________________ 2006 Liquid Force Fish 125 w/ Hyperlite 3DS boots |

| Hockeyplayer, well if he doesnt seem to have a dominant foot than you just pick one, and it might as well be regular. i dont know why but all the old school surfers and skaters around here seem to be against goofy footers. |

well... both ways are fine. its best to learn both right and left foot forward early so you can be comfortable taking tricks switch and regular. and just go with what you like when you first get-up. _________________ Wake Forest University |
