while i was at the concert, these people were ranting and raving about this band called 'silverchair' and told me that their cd 'diorama' is the best they've ever bought. so, i went out yesterday and just bought it without even thinking twice about it. i love it. its one of the best cd's i've ever bought. its right up there with my daredevil sndtk. download their stuff or buy their cd - u wont regret it.

You muast be like 8 to not hear of Silverchair. They are an Australian band that hit it big in the states back in like 1997

yeah i seriously thought everyone knew who silverchair was 7 years ago. what concert were you at though? oh yeah frog stomp is definatly better you should check it out

agreed...frogstomp was their best album...i believe that was the first cd i ever bought and have never regretted it...neon ballroom was ok but they just got too pop-ish for me...still, silverchair=awesome band

Dude, all the Silverchair albums rock!! Their lead snger is said to be one of the greatest musical minds of our time and he is VERY young. I think he was 15 when frogstomp came out. All the music community really respects him. Their is a famous Australian pianist who plays on the Neon Ballroom CD that doesnt do collaborations. He turned down the likes of Elton John and Billy Joel, but asked to play with Silverchair. I have all their albums and they are all really good. I think my fovorite was Freakshow. They also wrote a techno song for the movie Spawn that was sick. They re-recorded it with their instraments on the Neon Ballroom CD and its one of my favorite jams of all time!

yeah, silverchair is a great band. And they are intense.
THey are doing a few short tours this year. Daniel has finally recovered from his severe joint disease, but still can't take the long tours. for updates check out www.chairpage.com

seems like i'll have to start downloading frogstomp too!!...

you would be talking about Daniel Johns he used to look like a normal bloke now he just looks like a sick Vegetarian! and their music has gone the same way!

the new silverchair album doesn't really do it for me either aubs, the old stuff was pretty good, but the new stuffs a bit too slow and mellow for me. definately download frogstomp, and freak is one of the better songs, it made them famous
