I was working on this logo for video class its for our production company called "snatch and run".tell me what you think, i think it might look better if i changed the text color.

To me, it looks like it says Run Snatch And. Maybe switching the words around would help it work better.

isnt that the lil guy for aOL and AIM??? it looks kinda weird with the guy blurry and then the thing he his holding is not, and just looks funny cuz its just a box and it looks like its just floating there by his hand, but thats just my opinion

I think you took the guy from AIM and then blew up the image waaaay too much. Also, you might think about changin the word order to make it more obvious about what your trying to say.

You also might want to mention that it is in fact a production company somewhere in that picture.

The order of the wording could prolly be improved. And the guy is way too blury.

I was going to produce a proper wake vid and sell it through the shops. Thought about making a good Australian movie for once. (You know, just to break the recent trend...)

But I dunno... I'm starting to think I should hold off for a little while due to school. Its going to be hard filming, editing, marketing and basically bulltishing the vid onto the scene all while I'm doing yr12...

We'll see...

I've decided to make a new web video during the holidays. I might post the introduction up for it 'cos Chilli Factor still has my tapes of Dwayne, so I'd have to wait a while to do his section.

As for the making money... Just a little on the side. (Very little) Smile

BTW, Look out for a video by PIMP PRODUCTIONS to come out some time next year, and buy it. A friend of mine is doing it. Don't waste your money on Dodd's videos.

Just my two cents worth... but if you are going to create a logo for a company that will potentially make you some money, you should go to a pro that knows what they are doing. I mean the idea is there but maybe it's not the best way to represent the companies personality.

Unfortunatly, my 16 year old self doesn't have enough money to seek professional help in this little venture.
I like playing around in Photoshop, and hey, I like to think that everything I do in this, is truely MY creation.

I just looked at that die in that logo too. Thank god I re-did it...

Oh hey, I certainly don't mean to bash anyone for trying to do anything, espectially something that may lead to something really fun. Nike payed $50 for their logo and look at them.

I think your ripping of AOL and all anybody will ever see is the AOL guy, make you logo individual. It also need help on the wording. And the color isn't very appealing.

Yea i know that it didnt come out too well, i did it at 12 last nigth in about a half hour, i was thinking of something simpiler for the words,( yea i did take that from aol, i didnt have any better ideas)

i like that alot, something like that was my original idea but i had nu clue what kinda of character to use, do you mind if i uses somthing like that for my logo?

Nah I'll send you the file in whatever version you need I just want credit for the design. If you want to make changes let me know and I'll do them for you. As long as they aren't to extensive.

Here are the changes you asked for. The shadow isn't really a shadow as much as a graphical element so to make it have more shape would take away from the figure. I added dollor signs to the money, and tried to fix his foot, but since it was clip art i took from a clip art file and i had no reference it was hard to work with the shadow so I don't know if it's better or not. Credit me as Shane Cook, Designer

heres one i made in paint in like 5 minutes i stole the letters from other wakeboard companies thought it would be cool since "snatch" and all. im sure some one that has photoshop can make it better but its just my basic idea.

i think sinsister minister used a wakeboard magazine. the s looks like it's fomr a skylon add the n looks like its from o'brien the a looks like titan towers not sure on the t the c looks like cassette and the u on the bottom looks liek bump films. thats all i could think of.

Be careful using that Aol dude, if you use it for anything other than class, AOL could hit you up bigtime on a trademark infringement for using their logo.
