Shaft, and Shafted..Chineese writing???

I need some help, i just bought the dvd of Shaft and Shafted, it comes on one CD, when i play them there is chinnese writing on the bottom, like in subtitles, i dont know why, this has never happened before, does this happen on any one elses??? i checked the subtitle options and stuff, and i cant figure out why this is happening, can anyone help? or is this just part of the videos?

it shouldn't be there

you should have a button on the dvd remote that will shuffle through the different subtitles

im playing it on a ps2, so i have the remote for the ps2, but i checked the subtitle options and when i pick it, and says that operation cant be done, i have no idea how to get rid of them

Had same problem, even was playin it on a PS2. You have to press "select" and then move down and over to the subtitle option (looks like a toolbox i think). Press "X" and it should give you an option or something like that. I hope that isn't what you were saying you were doing. But thats how I fixed it on mine!

OMG, these things suck, thanx, i acually did that before and when i pressed X to select the Subtitle Options button it said this "This operation can not be done" or soemthing along the lines of that, and i just tried it again, and it worked, alright thanx, its not there anymore, i was just confused, cuz i was doing what i thought would make it go away, and it wouldnt let me, its not there anymore, thanx

You gotta do that stuff while the movie is playing. If you do it while the screen is black, it won't work. It might not even work while the title screen is on

i did it when it was playing, it just wouldnt work then i dont know, but i got it to work somehow, so its al alright now
