Heat coating

Anything to spray on an MC walkthru windshield frame to keep it from expanding and not wanting to open/close in the heat? I got pissed off and took the entire thing off. Don't care enough to sand/remove glass. Anything I can just spray on the fcker?

It's going to expand. The best thing to do is leave the mounts a tad loose and leave it in the sun until hot. Then, wiggle and jiggle until a proper fit ( 1/4" on each side ) is attained. Then tighten the mounts. This will be a good setting for all conditions.

Leggester, but mechanical is. Can't do that, won't work.

You can't loosen the mounts where the frame meets the boat body? Isn't there a vertical mount, on each side of the middle pane, from the boat body to the frame?

The bolts drop straight into the deck and tighten down. I figured it'd be the same as the Star and 45 but it's really goofy.

Gator had this white spray-on stuff on his '05 SANTE and I was wondering what it is. Never heard of it and he just called it jizz spray. That didn't help much.
