I think the Ichor tower looks a lot better than the Skylon Extreme.
The Skylon is kind of ugly, IMO, and you are kind of limited in what racks you can get (bat rack or a vertical post mount rack). Plus, it looks like if you put the Bat Racks on there, collapsing will take more steps.
I think the Ichor has a really neat design with the central pivot. It would also make it very easy to fit up...no cutting or anything like most universal towers. You'd just have to put the feet where you want them and drill. The horizontal bars on the Ichor also mean that it will accept just about any racks you can find.
The only problem with the Ichor is that I can't find it online anywhere so I have no idea how much it costs. I found one site with what looks like an older model for $1500 but that's all. Did you find a place that sells them? |

I couldn't find a picture of the Ichor, but it was something like $2300 (maybe a different model?). Have you checked out MonsterTower ($995) (www.monstertower.com)? IMHO it beats the Skylon Exteme ($1500) in all aspects (style is of course up to your taste).
