So my wife drove my 05 Vride up on a sand bar a few weeks ago. Luckily, not much damage was done except for the wedge snapped off (the 'legs' broke, but no hull or mounting plate damage). So all I really need is either the legs to be welded back together or two new legs. Is it even possible to buy just the legs? If so...where would I go to do that? Keep in mind, I absolutely despise my local Malibu dealer and refuse to give him any more money (long story).

You messed up the wedge but sustained no prop or prop shaft damage, from hitting a sand bar? Wow....

www.themalibucrew.com do a search for damaged wedge and there are some contacts listed direstly to the company just skip your dealer and when they ask why tell them your story.
Itch

You may want to get your underwater gear checked out, especially the strut. If its bent it could lead to a lot bigger problems in the future.

how did that ever snap? We hit a log at pull speed and bent it 90 degrees, snapped the rudder so it ripped the hull...and cracked the hull up to the exhaust pipes. It wasn't too pretty. But, insurance claims work wonders in replacing all of that. Boat worked wonderful, still does...but the newer boat works so much better Surprised
