well guys, the title says it. When it comes to screwing with audio stuff, i pretty much have no idea what i'm doing. I had to take off my tower to fit the boat in the garage. I disconnected the tower speaker wires from the amp and now none of my speakers work. I know that this is a pretty vague post but that's all i did (as far as i know) and now nothing works! any idears?

Did you already plug the wires back into the right place on the amp? Why did you disconnect at the amp to take down your tower? Does your amp have power (a light should come on) when you have power? Are your audio controls on your radio set right? Ie. fade, balance, mute, ect? Did you unplug anything else from the amp? You can test the speakers by hooking up a 9volt battery to the speakers leads…if the speaker moves…it should still be good.

acurtis_ttu- i left all the amps connected. I haven't put the tower speakers back on but i can't find a reason why the interior speakers and sub don't play. Again, all i did was disconnect the 4 tower speaker wires and that's it...?????[/quote]

Did you disconnect the tower speakers at the amp or at the speaker? If you disconnected at the speaker (I’m guessing you did) you could have just popped a fuse by allowing the wires to touch or ground out (causing a short) check your main fuse to the amp? If the fuse popped or circuit breaker tripped, your amps will have no power. Check to see if you have power to the amp.
