Just load the line and release... that's the theory, now putting it into practice is a whole 'nother matter

Hey man yeah, the key to the trick is tension on the rope, and letting the boat pull ya around. You gotta really trip this trick> i would do it on rollers first. Take a good cut out on your heels and bend those knees. And take your back hand off like a tantrum, now take it straight up thats the key becuase you have no wake to pop so its all on your ollie up. And the other factor is the line tension. Think of doing a progressive edge but out away form the wake. i'll send a video of me doing it. Good Luck bro. I look away from the boat when i do it kind gives me a whip around effect

Ask northwestrider...he does them in his vids like nothing

Is it just me or would you not really be load and releasing...that would be like doing an inside the wake>out backroll or cable raley. In the tantrum dont you load, switch edges and then throw your body backwards? I know when I describe it it seems exactly like load and release but if you think about it your wouldnt be load and releasing because that wouldnt throw you into a straight backflip. Maybe a frontroll but not a tantrum...does anyone understand that? I cant do them but it just doesnt seem load and release like per se.
