Sponsorship at your level isn't about how well you ride. It's about how well you can rep and what you offer the company. Competing is good, being active in your local scene is great and being a cool guy to chill with is huge.
On the riding side... you need to work on your style and execution. You should think about grabbing and tweaking wherever possible. Three toeside 180's in a contest run doesn't really cut it. The 5 is cool but think about how a big slow rotated 3 looks versus your incredibly rushed 5. It's all about making it look a whole lot cooler than it is. Have fun, worry more about that than sponsors. |

| You start off with a fashionair? If you throw one of those at the Projects they will stop your session right there and make you get in the boat if not walk back to the house. Seriuosly. I don't mean to be cruel but definitely drop that from your vid if not your life. They will crucify you for that trick in Florida if nowhere else. |

Nice riding! I would have to agree, more grabs and tweaks.
What kind of boat were you behind in the beginning... almost looked like an I/O's wake, but you were going huge.

only weight is one sidesack placed right in the walk way between the front of the boat and the driver/shotgun seats. its like an dextra 400 lbs. Also only driver and 2 or 3 other poeple are usually in the boat if im lucky. My 5's look rushd because the wake is small. hopefully i get a new boat so you guys can see some real hight on the D-ups next season. |

| Nice vid. I think you are good enough for sponsorship...you have a good bag of tricks that you can nail behind any boat. (weighted Vdrive or an I/O..impressive) Also another thing that sponsors will like is that you nailed your tricks in a competition. A very choppy watered competition. Thats hard. Good luck to you |

I was at that contest in the Wisco dells. i took 6th in mens finals with basically no 1st pass to speak of, and I am not sponsored. I am not saying someone else couldnt be sponsored below me, just that it takes a lot more to really get noticed nowadays. Also, as everyone says, it's not all based on riding, there are other aspects to sponsorship so keep at it, and keep spinnin to win it.
by the way, the water there wasnt that bad on sat. but it was butta for sun. _________________ Mark Kenney, 1983-2002

cool guy right here.
But only in Florida will they crucify this trick. Once you cross that line.
you have nothing to worry about it.
a sponsor would like to see you have fun and do all your tricks, then get back in the boat and be super cool about how you messed up than just go out there throw all your tricks as quick as you can and look crappy while doing it. Just start talking to people, keep riding and have fun. the sponsors will come when the time is right. |

| O yea, Im diggin the fashion air. I dont see why anyone would crucify you for doing that trick. Its a fun trick thatll make anyone in the boat chuckle, and its always cool to see who can do the best one. Combined with a huge backside tweak, they look styly IMO. |

| Atrain, you're way better than half the kids out there with full sponsorships. These kids are really, really personable and are great guys/girls to hang out with, even if they can't ride great. If you're a good representative of your sponsor and are outgoing and generally a people person, you will go far with your riding to accentuate your good qualities as a person. |
