SWeeet.. looks very cool!
I have always liked the black and white camo pattern. I think that looks very cool.
I like the look of the dash too, understated simplicity, functional, and clean!
The side exhausts are cool, as well as the rub rail flowing lines.
The only thing I noticed is that the bow seems a little small, but that isn't a big deal, if you have little, bikini clad women up there.. they can just get closer to each other
Twisted Evil

Thanks for sharing, I have really enjoyed watching this boat grow!
Very Happy

jumalian, the dash looks really nice...do you know if that is what it will look like on ALL the '06 boats or just the DVS edition?

joedirt00, I'm guessing they are for the trim-tab thing.

I sure can't wait for these boats come to Dallas, hopefully soon, I really got to check these out. They look absolutely sick! Thanks for the pics Joe.

sweet camo. Just in time for Duck season on the delta. Laughing

one question though. What's up with the trailer? Nice looking boat, on a cheap ass cradle...IMO.

K-dub that camo isn't for duck hunting on the delta it is strictly made for polar bear hunting in the frigid glacier filled waters of the north pole.

Nice boat. I think the camo would look even better if the pattern didn't repeat every 2 feet.

By the looks of the 3rd pic I thought we were looking at the Epic Butt pics, not boat pics. But in the second set of pics it looks like he is pulling up his pants. Oh wait... that was me, What an em-bare-assing picture.

The boat is sick!!! The wake launches you straight up and seemed to put me right on the sweet spot of the second wake every time. The shape of it was the perfect comprimise between steep and rampy

The Vector steering is unbelievable, everything that has been said about it is an understatement. It really can turn on a dime. The ballast wasn't full and the wake was huge(can't imagine the ballast full.) Drop Zone tech... genius, pulls the transon of the boat deeper and creates a bigger wake.

polkaking27,
What is the wake comparable to as far as shape goes? I like the looks of them. Will this be a pric point boat or a regular 50K one?

it almost looks like it has 3 rudders actually. someone clear this up please

and i have to say, although teh front is wierd., it sure keeps the boat from becomming damaged on those misjudged dock pickup/ run into the dock things.

I'm not sure what the wake is comparable to. Size wise I would say the x-star, as far as shape, it doesn't really compare. Like i said it is the perfect combo of steep and rampy. Just looking at it, it looks like a pretty good ramp, but when you hit it you launch straight up and land right on the sweet spot of the 2nd wake.

The windshield and rub rail look like the SA 220. I'm not knocking this, just noticing a coincidence. The boat actually looks pretty "sic".

I have no doubt that this boat serves the purpose of throwing a great wake, and entertaining anyone onboard, which are pretty much top priority when purchasing a boat. But, I tend to agree with HOLLYWOOD in the fact that it does copy the rub-rail lines of a SAN 210, also the hull and transom of an older VLX, the tower of an older wakesetter, and Centurions Sideswipe and interior (a little). I guess I just don't see any originality except for the squared off bow which they should run with! Cause I think that looks cool and is very unique and different. Everybody likes the looks of their own boat, which was partly why they bought it, including me (let's be honest). But this boat just doesn't make me want to be the first on the block to have one, like the X Star did and still does. Besides I can barely handle the wakes from my C4 anyway! Anyhow, good luck to them and I hope they sell. (This is just my opinion).

What's wrong with taking what you like best from each boat company and integrating it into one boat?

Why did you not have all the ballast full? I'd want to try it with everything filled up.

mcfatty,
I agree

but, at the moment the front ballast pump was giving us problems, so we couldn't get that filled up.

cameraboy, nothing. I think what Epic did with their boat is awesome, makes perfect sense to me. I also like like the small bow, huge bows are a waste.

I thought this thing was supposed to be deisigned to hold like 3000#s of ballast. Why is the swim platform below waterlevel? I hate having to try to slide of the back instead of just jump in.

Nice camo, it looks really good on that boat.

What's wrong with the trailer?

wakebrad,
The cool thing about this deck is: about the last 8 inches of the deck are slightly slanted so you can slide right off into the water without an effort. Another rider friendly feature that chris included!!!

I wonder if this guy got anything from Epic for going commercial based on the design of his one off?

too bad they cant make copies of the chick and sell them too. but then again.. she looks expensive and probably takes allot of maintenance.
