When it gets dark too soon after work in the evenings to ride, you get up before daybreak (OUCH) and ride then. The good points are:1 No boat traffic to deal with. 2 No waiting at the landing for an open spot to launch. 3 Pull right up to the gas pump. 4 The sun looks cool this early.
The bad part is finding out there is a 4 oclock that’s not in the afternoon????
The fog was something you don’t see everyday and talk about glassy water,,, slick enough to see the gators. see swirl

If I never see that stupid west side hand gesture, it will be far too soon.

Great pics. That water is pretty. So clear.

OK, one dude is in a drysuit and the other nothing. Is one guy a puss or does the other just have balls of steel?

Yes, firebush does have brass balls. Not to mention we were running low on time (have to work sometime) and it takes valuable time to get in and out of one. And yes, that is me throwing the gay face and W sign - in jest - we all get sick of seeing the west coasters throwing it. Much love from the Gulf Coast-

I almost was sad that I couldn't be there, but I think that I'm gonna go snowboarding sometime in the next week and a half so I feel all right.

Frameyo...must be nice, ya bastid. I will be showing up on your doorstep soon. And to all the haters - if you have a drysuit, why not wear it...especially if you're in a hurry to go to work and don't have time to change clothes.

Dry suit???wet suit???skin??? too many choices. As the author of this post I feel the need to,,,,,, clear the air here.
Yes, I'm in the dry suit and in FL, it turns out not to be as cold as we thought and I was the first rider of the morning. Firebush may or may not have steel gonads but I have to live up to my "Kotex" sponsorship contract every chance I get. LOL.

Where are these pics from?
By the looks of the people in drysuits, I'm guessing Canada?
I wish I had that smooth water down here in O-town.

Why you people got to hate? The air temp at 0630 was 48 degrees F. Yes even in FL. it gets cold. If it were noon and 80 degrees I don't think anyone would have worn their suits, and even if they did--if it makes their ride more enjoyable more power to them.

I for one would to be warm and comfortable wearing a dry suit over freezing my ass off but looking cool in just shorts and a vest. When you can't hang on to the handle after 5 minutes of riding because your hands are too damn cold then come talk to me about how bad ass you are.

The person wearing the dry suit is also going to be the person who is able to function the next day and not be a sneezing snot filled mess.
