I was wondering if anyone knew the most durable way to patch a few leaks in a drysuit? _________________ My therapist says it is all your fault. |

I take it that suit you just got has a leak or two? Man that sucks!
I just bought one off of E-Bay as well. It hasn't arrived yet, but I am crossing my fingers that it is in good condition. We'll see sometime next week. _________________ "I'm not a professional wakeboarder, but I did stay in a Holiday Inn last night". |

Yea I decided it may be just easier to keep it if I can get it fixed. I wanted to get some ideas as far as the BEST way so I don't have a bunch of stuff on the inside that looks like crap and does not work!! _________________ My therapist says it is all your fault. |

Nobody else has any suggestions? I know somebody has some experience patching these things! Is it a futile effort to try? _________________ My therapist says it is all your fault. |

I bought a used oneill boost suit off ebay that had leaks. I used a wader repair kit that I bought from Gander Mountain to do the repair. The bad part is that there were no colors that matched, but it works. The bad part was finding all the leaks. IF you are patient you can put balloons in all the openings pump the suit full of air and use a soap and water mixture on the suit. where it bubbles there is a leak. or you can just wear the suit and try to make a note of all the places the water is coming in!
Good luck! _________________ www.midwestwakeboarder.com

At most dive shops, you can find a product called "AquaSeal" that does the job as well as anything out there. I've used it on my diving drysuit and been down to 120 feet with no leak recurrence. |
