Last weekend we were at this party, there were only like 15-20 of us and there were no cars out front and all the front lights were off, it was really well hidden. The cops show up so we shut off all the lights, the music, and lock the doors. Hah, the cops knocked on the door for like an hour then they go and get a key to this chicks house from her dad (her parents are divorced) Well we all hide in the attic and some dumb drunk kids knock stuff over and there busted hah. Well me and this chick Tiff were the only smart ones that actually hid. We hid for 3 and a half hours until the cops and everyone finally left. One other kid didnt get caught to (somehow?) he was lying against the wall in a closet in a sleeping bag and they didnt see him, idoits, hah. Well everyone there got MIP's or some sort of charge or fine except for us and 2 guys that pulled a 0.0 on the breathalizer test (somehow..?) they had been chugging beers though. My curfew is 1am, i mad it home at 4:30, luckily w/ out an MIP. Any one else have any stories? oh yea and half the people there were over 18 or on probation...screwed.

Those were the days of being a minor and partying like hell. I have one story that involved the cops.

we were partying like hell at a friends house the summer between my junior and senior year in high school, when a car of three dudes rolled up. One of them had beef with one of my friends. My friend and one of the dudes start fighting, and one of the dudes friends starts jumping in on my friend, when out of nowhere another one of friends blindsides the second dude. So here are two groups of two guys fighting each other. Meanwhile, all the people at the party are watching my two friends kicking these guys butts. Well while we are watching the third guy walks into my friends garage and picks up a hammer (we didn't know what he had in his hand at the time) he walks out calm as hell and walks up to my first friend that starting fighting and hit him in the head twice with the hammer, my friend just gets up and starts running away. then the dude goes over and uses the nail removing part of the hammer and starts hitting my second friend in the head and then the back. As he is doing that we are all watching in shock, like wtf, where did this dude come from. The two other dudes start saying, lets get the f##k out of here and they all bounce just as quick as it started.

Someone had gone into the house and called 911 while all this happened. We jumped in the car to go look for my first friend that got blasted by the hammer twice. Being hit by the hammer made him delirious (sp?). We ended up finding him walking around confused 4 blocks away. We drove him back to the house and he started puking (he had a concusion). Meanwhile the cops show up and they end up finding the car that night and we all testified against the dude with the hammer.

After taking the two to the hospital, we ended getting back to the house about 12:30,execpt for the guy with the concusion who spent the night in the hospital. We started partying again until the sun came up.

Wow this was long. Anyway, I guess the moral of the story is: if you are watching a fair fight and you see an a$$hole with a hammer walking up to hit your friends, you should just run him over with a car or hit him with a bat or something, before he can hurt your friends. Or, just don't fight.

My buddy used to throw keggers to make rent. His band all lived in the same house so they would play a few sets during the party. We always charged people to get in unless you were a friend. $5 to guys we didn't know, $7 to guys we didn't like, and girls are free. Well once the kegs were dry there was no need to keep people around so we'd just call the cops on ourselves. They'd come clear most of the crowd out and let some people stay. It was a once a month thing almost.

Thanks guys... The parties weren't my idea but I think calling the cops were. It doesn't make sense to have them come all hostile like to break things up. If you're on their good side and just say things got out of hand they usually understand. I've even had cops some back after their shift to drink.

that's funny norcal...
well, I've got a few stories, but nothing like y'all's. I guess everytime the cops come, I always get away. I always park about 2 streets down, and that way, if cops come, I just jump the fence in the backyard, run through neighbor's yard, and hop into my car and high-tail it outta there...

Come on Nor-cal. A true genious would have called strippers dressed as cops and had them kick out the riff-raff before getting the party started.

That just makes me sad, JRock*Girl. Don't those freakin' cops have anything better to do than ruin some drunk (or maybe not even drunk) teenagers' evenings/weeks/months/whatever? I never even got busted when I was underaged but stories like that still drive me nuts.

I wish, I live in a very small town, when someone gets pulled over for speeding 3 cops show up because they have nothing better to do and we don't have a Krispy Kreme Dougnut place hah

they just waltzed into the house? im pretty sure thats a 4th amendment violation...they either have to have solid probably cause or a warrant to enter a residential dwelling... if the cops did break the law...any evidence they found should fall under the exclusionary rule....i'd look into it

a new years party i was at this year got busted. the cops just came in and told evryone to grab some alcohol and come outside so of course me and one other dude out of about 50 people grab some alcohol and go outside. so the cops make us pour out all the alcohol and are tellin us how dumb we are and im tryin not to laugh for reasons i shouldn't share but when we walk back into the house to get some more alcohol to pour out the house is dead silent and everyone is looking at us scared to sh*t and i just started dying laughing. then the cop asked me if i was okay and told me to go sit down so i went and laid down on a bed and they didnt bother me anymore. all they did is make us pour out the alcohol then they waited outside the rest of the night so the only sober dude there had to drive all of us home.

other than that the cops have only come to a party i was at one other time and we were at some apartments and skateboarding down a playground slide at 1 in the morning and they told us to take our party back inside.

This doesn't have to do with cops and parties, but earl's story reminded me of it...

So this weekend my parents were out of town, and they told me i wasn't supposed to have people over... friday nite i got home at 12:00 and my sister (21) leaves to go sleep at her BFs house... It was too late to call my buddy's, so I figured we'd do something saturday.... so I had a hockey tournament with them, then we played hockey for another two hours after that for my friends bday party. We rented half baked and came back to my house at like 12:00 to watch it... there was me and three of my buddys.

My parents were like completely out of alcohol, and we didn't want to stay sober all night, so me and my buddy went to try and find someone who'd sell us some weed. I took my dog in the back of the van just to let him get out of the house (he'd been in all day). My sister was out at a bar, so I figured she wouldn't be home 'till like 3ish (it was a bit after 1:00)...

So we're driving around my neighborhood looking for someone to grab off of. There's this plaza near my house where all these dudes bring their souped (sP?) up cars to chill and maybe organize races. We were driving in a pretty out the way place, and this done up cavalier starts following us. I didn't think anything of it. We saw some cars behind the plaza, so we went back there and teh car still followed us. Then they started honking and waving at us... all I could see was headlights, but my buddy was like "sh*t, don't let them get next to you man"... so I start to gun it, turn out of the plaza and their right on my tail. I live like 1 minute away from the plaza, but there was no way in hell I was just gonna park in my driveway and let these people know where I live.

Now we're driving around a residential area... I'm going like 120 km/h, 80 around corners trying to lose them (my dog WASNT liking this)... finally I couldnt see them in my mirrors so I started back to my house... I turned my lights off and was going down the hill to my house really slowly. Then a car turns and start coming toward us... it was the same friggin' cavalier... I was freaking now... like how the hell do they know where I live? They stop RIGHT in front of my house... Me and my buddy are slightly worried... so I floor it and I'm gonna go by them when my SISTER gets out of her friends car and starts yelling at me "Why the F are you driving like an idiot?!?!?" .... I was so pissed at her... WTF do you think I'm driving like that? You're following me in a car I've never seen before at like 1:30, honking and waving at me... jeeeze....

Damn, this is long too... I was pretty damn freaked out though.. it was like a movie man... I thought I was gonna get my ass kicked royally... F'in sister... Evil or Very Mad

I can't beleive this. Do you live in Iraq or something ?

What right do the police have to come into your house ?

In the UK, they have to get a warrant before entering your house.

I thought the USA was a free country ? It sounds like a police state to me.

The police telling you to pour out your alchohol ? Isn't that someone's personal belonging ? If they told you to crash your car would you do that too ?

So what if you are under 18/21 ? You can tell them the alchohol belongs to someone else (like the owners of the house).

Remember innocent until proven guilty ? Obviously not.

That is f***ed up.

you're somewhat right pedro. at the new years party i was at a girl answered the door when the police knocked and she was underage and had alcohol in her hand. that would probably work as probable cause. i've had friends at parties where they just wouldn't open the door when the cops came and the cops eventually left. your car, however, is a different story. i think the law (government) has too much power over some things here but apparently most people agree with what they do and that's why it is the way it is.

Pedro- If they have reasonable cause they don't need a warrant. Such as an underaged girl answering with alcohol in hand. They won't enter unless you open the door. If the cops show up just turn everything off and don't answer the door. They only have the legal right if you give them reasonable cause.

oh jeeze.. lots of stories here.

we were at my friends house because her parents were gone for the week-end and we're just all lettin lose. some people dancin on the pool-table, others are nakie in the hot-tub, others are just passed out drunk, people smoking god-knos-what in her basement. so we were all just chillin and having a good time. well, the rich b@sta@rds next door decide that the music's too loud and people running up and down the street naked was too crazy for them - so they called the cops.
i see 2 cop cars coming down the road, so i grab a bunch of my cheerleader friends who i knew were too stupid to hide on their own, and the 5 of us run outside through the back door, and run through her woods and hide behind these bushes in the yard 2 houses down. so we see the cops dragging people out, and one of the cops tried to out-run the kids runing nakie down the street, and realized he's better off in the cop-car, so he hops in that and chases the kids. that was pretty amusing to watch.
after like 2 hours, the 5 of us just walked home to our friends house because she lived like 3 streets away. so there is 5 of us pretty drunk walking the streets of my town. eventually one of the girls' bf's came and brought us all home in his 'shaggin wagon' lol. but it was a pretty cool night..

Back when i was at LSU we partied in Tiger Town, mainly at Sports. Fights were commonplace at 2am outside the bar in the parking lot. They usually didn't last too long and the cops would usually break them up. But there was one fight that stands out.

Two guys are fighting and the crowd is actually giving them room and keeping people from jumping in. A third guy was intent on jumping in the middle and kept trying, but the crowd would grab him and through him back off the fight. After trying this 3 or 4 times he comes back with a beer bottle in each hand. He breaks the bottles on each other and goes to jump in the fight again. This was a big mistake. The entire crowd goes nuts. Most of the crowd of 150, rush the guy with the bottles. Fights break out all over the parking lot. The guy with the bottles is getting beaten like a dog over and over. At one point he could no longer hold himself up at all, so one guy would hold him up and others would run by and kick or punch him. It was really crazy to be in the middle of complete madness. Several ambulances showed up and cops were all over the place. Some how no body in our crew got hurt too bad or arrested.

My thing was always to have the blinds shut and lights out with the door locked. Never, I repeat Never, open the door to the police if there is underage drinking or other illegal activites going on. The might say they are going to come back with a warrant or what not, they won't. They are just saying this. Do not open the door, I know there is always so dumb@ss that say's to open the door. Kick his or her @ss and do not let them open the door. Even now the only time I open the door is if no one inside is of age or the minors are well hidden and not amking any noise.
