I ride a Substance 138 and towards the end of the season I tried a friend's ps3 137. I absolutely loved it. I rode both finless. When edging, the ps3 bites a lot harder but when neutral releases like the substance. I pops a lot harder, lands a lot softer, and is a lot more forgiving with the rounded edges. They have the same basic feel but the ps3 takes everything the substance does well and makes it ten times better.

For me the PS3 pretty much fixed all the things I didn't like about the substance. It was a bit faster and landed much better. The feel when edging, buttersliding, and such was quite similar. As for pop I didn't notice a huge difference: it pops well, but of course so does the substance. Again these are my opinions on the board, coming from someone who rode the substance for most of the summer.

yes, a bigger board will give you bigger pop and softer landings.

i wouldn't say the ps3 pops a lot harder than the substance but it definitely lands better. the pop is good though.
