Yeah i saw that, it was dope. But it seems like they could use it for the "peak" of the trick and then speed it back up again. It kind of reminded me of the matrix.

I didnt catch it but, i wouldnt think it was 200fps. I think he uses an Arri SR2, soo he probably was shooting like 70 to 80 fps.

Can anyone start Tivoing that and uploading it for those that do not have Pull... normally I wouldn't ask for something like that if it were available to me, but the only cable provider I can use does not offer that channel.

The camera he was using for those shots was a digital computer-controlled camera that shoots over 1,000fps. I'm not sure what the framerate was he was shooting at for those shots, but I spoke to Justin about it a few weeks ago, and he was telling me about the difficulty of shooting with it... since there's no live preview or viewfinder. It's designed for industrial use where it would be fixed on a tripod pointed at a high speed object (assembly line checking, crash testing, etc). He does shoot a lot with 16mm, and also with the DVX100A... but those shots were not on 16mm or DV. They do show the camera and computer setup on Pull... for those of you who saw it.

There are digital cameras out there that can do 33,000fps (Olympus's i-SPEED), and likely faster.

the camera that justin was using apparently shoots up to 10,000 frames per second. he said he is shooting the wake stuff at about 1,000 fps because if he went any higher you wouldnt be able to see much motion.

do the math...that's around 2/3 of a GIGABYTE for 4 seconds of video Shocked

Okay, I know I'm gonna get the idiot award, but I have never heard of "pull". Is this a show or a channel? If it's a show, what channel is it on? I have digital cable so I'm hoping I have it. Is it just a wakeboarding show? First answer my questions, then you can bash on me....ha

It's a show on FUEL... However you will have to check with your Digi cable provider for it's availability..

You can get FUEL on direct TV (Channel: 612), it will cost you an extra $5/mo (or so)..

That entire episode was sick. Shane's new board is tight and Phil was absolutely killing it - that kid is too f-ing talented.
Gonna buy that new LF video for sure, and like someone else said, I sure hope Alliance is planning on releasing the entire season on DVD. I want to see the Tahiti episode again. Those guys were riding right next to the resort my wife and I stayed at on Morrea. I rode there too, but it was behind like a 12 foot outboard on an old school Eric Perez pro model that they had sitting in the corner of the resorts kayak rental shop. Laughing

I used to get it when you could still burn cards easily and cheaply.... Shocked anybody know where you can find legit info on card "testing" without spending a ton of money?
