Who is Ricky G. riding for

I heard some rumors that Ricky G. is no longer riding for gator but he switched over to Krown!!! Does anyone know for sure what went on there???

from what i understand, he has his pro model board with gator and still rides for them. his bindings aren't being made by nice anymore, so krown is making them.

This is just what I heard so take it for what it's worth- I think he bought his binding design, but Krown makes them for him since they took over Nice (or something along those lines). Kind of confusing but I don't think he is technically with Krown and he rides for Gator Boards.

It would be awesome if he just went with Krown even for boards though. I think it would really help Krown.

I got to hang out with him when I went to FL to attend the centurion dealer meeting and surf expo.

He is one of the newest members on the Centuion team and he was still with Gator boards and was busy with the launch of his new bingings that were on display at the Krown booth. He was wearing a cool hat that said Gonzolez Bindings.

It was awesome watching him ride. He was using a 90ft rope at about 25mph. The best part was when he got back in the boat and said "I love this wake" cause I have the same boat!

Centurion gave him an enzo to use but at the time we were riding behind an Avalanche. He said that the lake he lives on has an ordinance that only allows boats up to 20ft I think. Anyways, his Enzo is too big so he said it doesn't get used much.

Ok, I talked to a rep today, and I think I figured it out, so correct me if this doesn't sound right. Current year he is still with Gator boards and still has a pro model, but officially he is no longer with them and is with Krown. Come 06-07 gear Krown will have a gonzalez pro model, and Gator will be minus Ricky G.

I don't even know if this is possible that is just what I was told. Does it sounds like it could happen???

If you notice in the pic he is using an accurate handle but has the logo blacked out. Sounded like he had a bad break up with hyperlite.

I know this year that The owner of Krown purchased the Gonzalez bnding from Nice and set Ricky up with Gonzalez bindings.

Also Ricky G. is riding for Gator, no question about it.
