The Headless Chicken, I have Detention 1 and 2 and you are right the only Reason Murray mentions it is to say DON'T DO IT....
He does not say that about slob he actually has a section that covers slob. _________________ PEACE

| J_DOGG, no matter how you look at it, slobs and tindies are sloppy lazy grabs. and pros grab tindy if that makes it a grab in "the book of grabs" for you. |

The Headless Chicken, I grab slob instead of nose (can do both) on my frontside spins because I think it's more stylish. So slobs are not lazy grabs. You seem to be the only one fighting something accepted by just about every wakeboarder. Punk skateboard elitists... _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone. |

| lmao, calling skateboards elitists. slobs are lazy grabs. you could grab nose or mute. most wakeboarders dont know the difference between boardslides and lipslides so thats not saying much. |

It's just so funny to me that if my hand is over a foot on my board I'm grabbing a lazy tindy instead of an indy. I've never even grabbed tindy but not because I'm "lazy" I learned indy first because I thought it would be easiest and never really thought of grabbing my board tindy like it shows. I'll grab tindy next time I'm out just for you headless.
I don't know most of the names of the grabs I do but I sure have fun doing them. |

i don't know the headless chicken from a bar of soap but from what i heard he skates and thats fine but the only reason i can see that he disagrees with crails slobs etc is that on a skateboard the board is so much shorter making it lazy on a skateboard to grab slob instead of mute (the distance between both hand places being little compared to that on a wakeboard)
Isn't a rear hand grab on the nose not a crail but a seatbelt ill try find a pic of chris oshea doing one if im wrong
grab how you want where ever you want thats what boardsports are about just put your own individualisation (spell) on the trick thats what boardsports are all about having the freedom to break away from the norm and lay down what you want.
don't let some idiot on a internet forum upset you what a joke _________________ EAST COAST RIDERS

yes i do live on an island. which just happens to have a very clear cut east coat on it
wakebrad i will puncuate it from now on for you
i just think its stupid goin about whats legit and whats not. i don't believe boardsports should have restrictions placed upon them, that aren't needed i.e. where to grab and where not
plus 9 years at something doesn't mean that you are the man and superior to others. but what ever floats your boat. plus i called the headless right. peace sorry for any peeps i annoyed with my post _________________ EAST COAST RIDERS

okay imo wakeboarders, f***ed a lot of grabs up but every wakeboarder will tell you that its right so whatever. Lets start with a crail. On a skateboard a crail is a rear hand nose grab. Snowboarders couldnt get this grab cuz there nose is long as hell so they grab it on the toe edge in front of the front boot and now you got a new grab for the same name. They also discovered they could grab the heel edge of the nose and it was named nuclear. then they started grabbing front handed tail grabs dubbed it a seatbelt. Wakeboarders kept nuclear and crail te way they were but couldnt get the seatbelt with the handle so they moved it to the nose. so in wakeboarding a nuclear is back hand heel edge of nose, seatbel rear hand nose, and crail is rear hand on toe edge of nose. How things should be. Crail rear hand nose grab, seatbelt is a front hand tail grab. you only need four places to grab.
true slobs are okay just not wakeboard slobs. (shouldnt of even brought this one up, o well) |

correct, but it gives me a heads up on people that are learning stuff now incorrectly!
I guess the fact Shaun Murray says don't do it doesn't mean a thing either right?
Sure grab where ever you want just don't try to call something legit when it is not!
As a coach this is the stuff that drives me crazy, as you can tell. _________________ PEACE
