Never heard of either of those guy, but they kill it. Remember you dont have to use the whole song so you can cut out alot of the extra downtime you put in there like the 5 seconds of edging and chilling in Hamricks video around 50 seconds in.

allright, i actually cut out alot of both songs, and hamrick is 15, there was another thread in the newbie section , http://forums.wakeboarder.com/viewtopic.php?t=49044 where no one believed he existed... lol

anyway, both of those kids are 15 and 14

was there too much "hanging out" in both videos? or just hamricks?? thanks for the feedback

Alex Hamrick is 17 I think, he may still be 16, but he does drive. And Alex has been ripping for a long time. He won Outlaw in INT US Championships back in '03. He has won almost every local contest he has entered in this year, and I look for him to make his name known next year in Jr. Mens on the PWT. And he can flat out kill it on a wakeskate too. Hopefully I will get some video of him riding this weekend.

Nice videos. That Hamrick kid is sick. One thing to improve them would be to time the music beats with the video. Have the downbeat on the pop off the wake, or a grab, or a landing etc.

wtbamoomba, Well, I finally got to a computer that has high speed internet and decided to watch your video. If he was my friend, I would know his age, BUT, be thankful you get to ride with someone of his skill level. It has taken me 8 years, and I still cant to the things that kid can do. I do not apologize for anything I told you, because that kid is just a freak of nature. Nice vid though.

Critiquing the riding only...... as no one above has done so yet....

The first one shows great promises and a willingness to push the limits of his ability with reckless abandon. I wish I was still young enough to do it.
BUT
He should clean up what he has, slapping the water with your back hand on every landing it sketchy/sloppy looking and takes away style points on the tricks he's doing fairly easy.

The second one shows a well rounded rider, big, clean, smooth and with difficulty from both sides of the wake.

With that said I still liked the riding in both, good job.
Editing is a fine art and takes lots of time.

nickdakoolkat, the first kid wasnt very good, and used his hand to much for balance.. But, he goes balls out, so he has great potential to rip in the future. He is a lion out there, and thats what it takes to be great.
