has anyone made their own bimini?

i have a atlantic tower on my 91 nautique excel and the factory bimini won't fit with the tower on. I would like to have one that mounts on the tower.
if anyone has any plans or website that will help me i would appreciate it

My friend Mark did. He is on this site often. He's out of town this week, but I will call him and tell him to reply. His looks as good as any that I have seen.

Check out www.diyTower.com and see the steve wolverton link, he built his own tower bimini. There are several companies that make them for towers but they are pretty pricey, like $600. Try www.towerbiminis.com and www.tubeliteproducts.com if you are intersted in a kit to install.
