i somewhere that i think was saeeling perfect pass upgrades aor somthin for i/o boats. and i was wondering if there are any reliable manufactures and if they are worth the cost...
so my questions are.
How do they work?
Would it work with an I/O Sea ray 210?
How much $$$$?
And if it is worth the $$$$.
thanks,
its just been frustrating this summer when ill edge out when the speed is where i like it so i start my prgressive edge to only find the wake all washed up big time with the speed dropping about 4 mph... _________________ Wake Forest University |

work just fine i rode behind a bayliner with one today, as i do often. My buddy has perfect pass wakeboard pro, as do i on my direct drive. We both find that heavily weighted they run best in rpm mode though.......so better to consider it very good pass, but well worth the money. _________________ Get Paid To Play Online Poker For Free! |

you are best just ordering straight from perfect pass, it will run you about 1100.00.
Btw.. I have it installed on my bayliner 1850 with a 4.3l 190hp merc! _________________ www.midwestwakeboarder.com

So it'll still work on a 4.3 L? How well does it work for anyone here who has installed it? _________________

gordon already said he has it on a 4.3 and it works "very good". Actually, in rpm mode it works great, and if you have enough riding time to waste you could probably eventually get it to work in speedo mode.
my advice is this.......
it takes a good driver anyways to use cruise, because you have to set it manually as you hit the target rpm.
wakeboard pro is worth the extra money imo, maybe someday they will offer an upgraded software for heavily weighted boats in speedo mode. _________________ Get Paid To Play Online Poker For Free! |

Let me know if you need a hook-up on your PP purchase. _________________ Original Boarder from 1983

boarditup, Sounds good. My dad is saying that PP isn't worth the price, so I don't know at this point. _________________

Sounds like the driver needs to learn to control the throttle a little better...no offense.

My dad's response was that our boat has an extremely still throttle. Haha.. I even think so. But the speed still changes without touching it and he said just to tap it lightly to fix it. He does do a good job of this, but only on glassy days it works well. _________________

Redsnk95, i/o's are nearly impossible to keep steady no matter how you move the throttle. _________________ Wake Forest University |

hehe, you think i/o's are hard? tryit behind an o/b and see what you think then. Its an art to drive my boat... only 2 people in the world that can do it, which really narrows down my choices of riding days.
