riverfreak, yeah, it went up ~ $.40 last week. BEFORE the hurricane. Isn't that price gouging? They already paid for it, but figured it would be going up soon anyway. Just because you suspect there is going to be a shortage shouldn't mean you can screw us until then. _________________

riverfreak, well, I don't know about local supply vs demand, but I can tell you it is dropping again on the futures exchanges. In other words, even if it goes up in the near term, it will be coming back down shortly.
Didn't move at all here in Cali. We seem to be in a holding pattern of about 2.85-2.89. _________________

From what my parents told me, it's hard to find Gas in Dallas, and its expensive, because so many people are there from Houston. I have some friends up in Dallas from Houston who don't know how they are going to get back because of gas shortage.
chavez, we've been holding about $2.85-2.95 in LA |

| Gas here in Tucson has been relatively steady at or near 2.90. A lot less then what was predicted it would be right now! |

My local station in SoCal has been steady at $2.83 for 87 octane for the past couple weeks. Was at $2.85 before that. _________________ A good friend will bail you out of jail. A great friend will sit next to you saying, "man that was cool as f*ck!" |

Bowen, Gas doesn't seem hard to find or expensive here in Dallas. Yes some stations are out of gas, but I don't feel it's that hard to find gas. I did fill all my vehicles on thursday-friday so i haven't had to buy more yet. I see plenty of stations that are selling gas. I'm seeing prices from 2.79-2.89 are the avg.
I think the main concern is the gas supply along the evacuation routes and back in houston.
