its gator season
Land owners can issue tags to hunters, each tag is worth one gator. This pic was taked outside of a place that skins then and processes the meat.

For the record, alligators and crocs can survive in salt water.

Alligator is very good. I have been trying to get a gator permit but they are hard to get in north Louisiana.

We dont have gators back in australia only Salt water crocs, they are mean though, in croc country you have to camp off the ground in campers or whatever, if you camp in a tent they will get in there and pull you out and eat ya!... Lucky we have steve erwin! crikey!

Ctipping, Try again genius, yes it's a gator, but I can't tell, that photo looks shopped. Something about the cop in the background doesn't seem right. If that's accurate that's about a 22ft alligator. Not that they don't get that big, but dam! You would think there would be a little publicity on a 22 ft gator! Crocs, they get that big easy. But good grief!

i agree with you hollywood. How in the hell can you tell by a shadow that that truck is stock or not? All of a sudden you are a shadow measurement predictor? I don't think it's shopped. Have you ever been around a backhoe? Unless they cropped the backhoe in too.....that's a big animal. And as far as it being a 22 ft alligator.....try taking the man's height, and moving it around on the pic. That would be no more than a 16 foot alligator. Estimate the alligator's leg against the height of the truck. That would be about 2 foot. Makes sense to me. You all are so paranoid, can you not even believe a simple picture anymore?

PS, if you're going by the way the sun is hitting that tailgate, and the shadow is still under the truck, try looking at the other truck and the shadow. Stop being a dumba@$ It would appear to me, the sun is coming from the same angle in that pic....on the 2 trucks, and the backhoe. See how the sun makes the shadow go under the truck, and it comes from under the back of the backhoe? The same for the gator's shadow. appears that the sun is somewhat of about 110 degrees or so above this pic. You can even see the cop's arm in the shadow. The rest of the gator's shadow would be out of the pic. Even the shadow from the strap around the butt of the gator connected to the truck makes sense. Last chance at taking what you said back???? try measuring a tailgate on a truck. I would guess at about 1.5 or 2 feet, now try your best even though I know some of you are not capable....to compare that to the man. Remember that 1.5 x4 = 6 ft. Who made you a shadow expert?

there is something weird about that pic. I think it may be shopped. normally trucks that are jacked up have the trailer hitches that extend down.

Nope, the tail light looks normal to me when compared to his head. I don't think it's cropped. The only thing that does look weird, is comparing the guys upper body to his lower, he's got a short torso when compared to his legs. But he's probably just a retard as is any other lawman that I know.

Doesn't anyone know anything about photography? I don't think it's shopped, it's just taken with a fairly short lens. Things in the foreground appear larger, things farther away appear smaller (relatively). Probably done intentionally on the part of the photographer to emphasize the size of the, um, animal. (I really don't remember the differences between crocs and gators, so I ain't taking sides in that arguement.)

And who says the cop isn't 5'4" or something?
