My family has a 25 foot bayliner and that is how we started boarding. It was fun for us at the time, but we got pretty beat up. There is no place to put the rope any higher than the back platform so you get pulled forward alot. Once we rode on a wakeboarding specific boat, we did not want to ride the bayliner any more. It throws a big, wide, sloppy wake and if you charge it you can clear the wake. Just be ready to get pulled forward. Have fun.

| No, but I'll bet the gas is pretty cheap to run at 22. If you've got a chance to ride behind it, DO IT! |

As kids we used to get so excited when our one friends Dad with a like 38' Sport Fisherman with a Tuna tower would pull us. We would tie the rope to the Tuna tower that was probably 15' above the boats and see how high we could get on the Kneeboard. I did a face plant and broke my nose on the board one time but was just as excited then next time we went. It sure aint pretty, but you can get huge air! (damn I miss being indestructable)

| I rode behind a boat like that before. The wake was way toooooo big. I know you are thinking how can there be such a thing? There just was no transition to the wake, if you cut into it, you would just catch the nose of your board and faceplant. I found it more fun cutting from inside of the wake to outside the wake. I was also a very novice wakeboarder at the time. Id love to try one out now! |
