Oh.. I'm looking to build a rail kind of slider. Sorry man. I was thinking something with a 2x10 for sliding maybe covered in plastic or something that will slide. _________________

id build it longer then 10 you will be on and off so fast you wont even know theres a couple things you could do 1 use pvc pipe 2 use pvc sheeting or 3 use trek or find an old canoe or rowboat for a cheaper alternative you can either make it floating or pound it into the ground. 2x10 would be good for the top and you can put pipe on that aswell side by side here is the latsest one me and my bud built not for beginers but we had just the ramp set up for a while. to play with. i also build a 12 foot floating one a couple yrs ago it was good but to short and i like it into the ground better then floating but that also depends on your rules and other things |

20i, Your first slider needs to be a tad further out of the water... I hate when they droop into the water... The kanoo is pretty sick though... I like how you have to get a good pop off of it to reach it too... _________________

Well here is what I want to do.. For safety, I'm going to throw some siding on it. (I was too lazy to do that in Blender). So there we go... The framing vvv _________________

Umm.... You will only want 2 barrels in your slider QNev with them 1/4-1/2 full of water. And tie the barrels in. _________________ www.Crawlinbc.com |

arof, Blender. It's available for Mac and Windows. Best of all It's free . It's pretty damn hard to learn and use especially on a lap top.

It will be to bouyent with 3 barrels. 2 barrels 1/4 full with water. If you don't put any water in them the slider will probably tip or be really shaky. _________________ www.Crawlinbc.com |

Alrighty... I think we have a plan here. So we're building this next spring along with the tower speakers, but I was wondering how much this will cost all-together. 2nd of all.. Would just cheap 2x4's work for taking it out every night, or would I need treated wood? Also, for plywood siding...
Any estimates?
Thanks! _________________

Ya just cheap 2X4's will work, I stained mine with old clear deck stain i found in the basement. The plywood is the expensive part. I used quarter inch and to stiffin it up used cheap strappping ( it was alot less expensive that way) ask your local lumberyard if they have any scrap plywood to. They will usually sell it for less.
I paid like 200 dollars for my slider but i got alot of free wood from where i work |

A'ight We aren't going to start it until maybe next spring when we can finally get back out riding. Right now, living in BC, the water is just plain FREEZING But yeah i'll try and get some pics.
My dad suggested making an opening compartment in the middle for the anchors I'm just plain excited for next spring _________________
