I am looking at both of these camcorders and wondering if anyone on this website has any expirience with either or both. Pros/ Cons. Thanks for your time.

I've used both a panasonic and a Canon camera (not the models you mentioned) and I'll never touch a canon again. Too many issues with their tape mechanisms. I've been more than happy with my panasonic.
