| youll wanna be lalmsot straig legged in the air, and then cushion the landing with yuor legs. like when you are jumping on a tramp, and then when you dont wanna bounce no more, you take all the jump out through your legs, like you stop bouncing. do that. |

| something that helped me when i first started landing in addition to absorbing shock with my legs was to let go with my back hand for more balance. |

PeeDeeRider, That shouldnt really matter at all actually... Besides, at his level, he will have more of a chance of losing the handle all together... You should also land on the same edge as you took off on... Too many people try to land flat which is basically going to where your legs out in no time. By holding your edge on lanidng, you will not only land things at a higher rate, you will take 90% of the stress off your knees! _________________

you might be right blake but i kno when i first started it was much easier for me to land my sketchy w2w jumps with my back hand off the rope _________________ "This suit is really crampin' my hardy boys, and its no mystery" |

seadooman89, uhh, that is very poor form. You get your hands back on the handle as quickly as possible. Why you may ask? Because you cant ride out of a trick with only one hand on the handle. I throw raley based tricks and sometimes I leave my hand off the handle, but that is because I try to throw a late grab in as well. I dont suggest you take your hands off the handle until you start grabing the board; that simple! _________________
