I cnt get out of my bindings :s

I recently bought some Jobe Riots and they are seriously hard to get in and out of. Once they are on though they are really comfortable.

Do reckn I cud dislocate something, if I fall hard, coz they dnt cum off my feet? Confused

No you don't want them to come off your feet when you fall. That is how you would twist a knee or something if only one came off. To make them easier to get on, get some binding lube or dish soap or something.

Well, have you tried binding lube/ slime? It will work wonders.. if you can't locate any, do a search on it here, there are plenty of alternatives, such as shaving cream, suntan lotion, dish soap... do a search on the pros and cons for these.

loosen them off, there are many different ways of loosening your bindings, one way i found was to get pop bottles, or beer bottles, jam them in and let them sit, put on in the top, and one in the toe if the toe is tight.

that should help and set them in hot water too. not a pool or hot tub, like a normal tub.

not if it is like actual lube, most stuff you make at home, if you use alot, and dont clean them out, like swish your feet around, will eventually rot and decay your bindgins.

hahah i had the same deal w/ my bindings. They only fit up to a size 12, n im a 12 so yeah.....

i had my cousin who has like 14s or so try on my board(u shoulda seen him try to get out of them....) but that loosened em right up. Now my feet slide in sooo much better....

yea i had the same problem with my friends board, i eventually started doing face plants purposefully at the end of my ride to help get em off lol otherwise i would sit there struggling for like 5 mins to get em off, but the way i fixed it is bought myself a board with bigger bindings

Be happy that the binding are tight! They will "release" - the force of a bad fall is much stronger than what you can pull so that should scare you. Then again you have the problem of one foot coming out twisting the other leg...

When the bindings are new, wear them in a hot tub for ½ hour or so and then store them with a bottel jammed in.

If you grab the board toeside and pull forward you usually get a lot of leverage and afer a few pulls, jaming shavingcream into the binding and wiggling your foot, you'll be able to get out. After you have used them for a few weeks/months they will loosen up.

A nice fall straight forward will probably help if you can't get out any other way. End your session by diving head first --- Razz

are you serious, you know about how many chems. there are in a hot tub?! it will screw your bindings nicely.

lol i thinkin 4 a minute, n imagined you with your bindings still on at ur computer askin 4 help

i kinda liked the tight feel i had w/ my bindings, felt better than not all the way in/ coming out.....
