what digital camera should I get

If you had $2000 - $3000 to spend on a digital camera and lens what would you buy? In the past I owned a nikon F5 with a nikon 80-400vr lens and loved it. I just want to switch to digital. All help is appreciated.

Despite you probably owning a load of Nilon lenses, I would advise getting a Canon 20D. You should be able to get a deal on a couple of lenses as well if you but together

I think I'm going to go with the 20d and a Canon EF F2.8L 70-200mm I can get the camera for $1399 and the lens for $1139. Is this a good deal Question
