03 Byerly. I like no cut outs, the slow, in-control feel, the feel finless, and the pop.

gotta Blindside Session 137 '03 and some 03 Blindside Converter Bindings. my bindigs are a bit big so they can get uncomfortable, and with the new technology out im dying for a new pair.

the board is pretty good good edging, tracking and all.

but im really thinking about getting an 06 substance 138 and some 05 alphas. then i should hopefully be satisfied

I got a LF Trip 143 with alpha bindings. It is my first board but I like it really well so far. I did ride my friends board once and I didn't like it much. Felt really loose on the water.

chanc, UlysS, Were yall just told it was a good starter board? I can think of about 5 others off the top of my head that would be better for learning and progressing on... However, its all about comfort, and if doesnt matter what you are on if you have faith you are going to go out and get radical everytime.

2004 HL Motive 144 with Split Bindings. It is the only board I have ridden, and I don't know any different. It works fine for me at this point.

It's a good Starter/Intermediate board. I just bought it so I could use it about two seasons before needing something more agressive.

Blake, in all seriousness i hate trees and feel there is no reason to save them. they are not in any direct danger if we leave them alone, but by leaving them alone we are also saving them. so its like saving a tree is by not killing it, but you cant save someone by not killing them.

Mr. Top Hat, You are so backwards... You can only save a tree once the tree has been dead. Thus you need to kill the person, to save the dead tree, to which a tree will live, but the person will still be dead. In all seriousness...

Mr. Top Hat, Thats pretty much how I understood it... However, I did sleep through most of environmental activist 101, but that sounds about right... I recall that if you killed yourself, you save a rain forrest... But who wants to save one of those god forsaken lands for? Its all humid ass in those!

04 Litmus 136

I like the way it allows me to pull out some really sketchy landings And it breaks loose effortlessy for surface tricks. I can't stand the way it rides in chop. And it is hard, at least for me to be get consistent pop off the wake. I get across easily but the amount of height is sporadic. But that is most likely due to the fact that I ride like crap.

I might buy a new board next summer. Kind of hard to shell out the $$$ when you know a new board is not going to make you any better though.

@Blake

To be honnest, I find this board very forgiving and not hard at all, I got up on the first attempt, I'm practicing for 2 months now (about 2/week) and I start to clear the wake on both sides. It says on this site that this board is for beginner purposes...check out the tab 'gear'.

05 CWB SOL 141. Decided on this one after hearing that it was a good beginner/ intermediate board and I picked mine up for $250ish. It was also the only "recomended" board that I could find locally. I think a 141 is too long for me but it was a compromise for all of the different people who would be riding. Everyone that has tried it has gotten up and we are all getting better pretty quickly. I havn't found any major gripes yet but It's the only board I have ridden so maybe I just dont know any better. I do want shorter fins and May cut down my extra set from 2.2" to 1.5"
