Ok, ive been doing tantrums for a while now, and when i started trying to take it to blind, i notice that i had some major issues with my normal tantrum. Heres a sequence of what happens sometimes because im just not getting it around enough. Any help is appreciated.

Looks like you may be trying to throw it back more, away from the boat like you would for a tantrum2blind or whirly.
Try not to turn you back to the boat but keep your shoulders more lined up with the wake for your normal tantrum. On the one in the sequence you landed a bit short too on the roation, speed it up a bit so you don't crush your ankles. |

Load your front foot more when you are coming into the wake. The best instructor I ever had said 95% of the time the way you take off is the way you are going to land. _________________ Skiing made me board,

yep, you are squaring up too much as you leave the wake. Don't turn so much toward shore. _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone. |

ontrider,
No actually I have never rode with him although I would love to some day. You can really learn a lot about someone when you go wakeboarding with them. It was Dave Briscoe. He wrote the instructionals for WBM for about 4 years and did a really good job with it.
Hey jflo452, do you have access to a trampoline. That usually helps alot with Tantrums. _________________ Skiing made me board,

Lyle, ah. Well I know Shaun stresses that as well. You land how you leave.
And yes, the tramp will help you learn to control your rotation on the tatrum for sure. |

| there are basically the $200 jumpking wallmart tramps, then $1000+ professional tramps. I ended up with a 14' from academy. Works good, but Im too chicken to do a backflip on it. |

Try a backdrop and flip from that . I tried a backflip when I was babysitting this kid..haha he's got some skills.... made me do it and well... once you get it you'll stick with them. They really aren't scary at all. Just try and land on your knees haha. _________________

haha good call. if you want to practice your inverts i suggest letting go right before the flip and doing it. That way it almost never hurts. _________________

Not on my boat, you won't do that.
If the rider EVER lets go of the handle before actually falling, they've basically resigned their turn. I stress that more than anything... if you puss out and drop the handle, you can go home. It's labeled Rule Number 1.

Alright, well thats pretty dick because sometimes you have to drop the handle in the air. Why dont you just make the rule, "If your first trick isnt a whirly 7, your turn is over....loser"
And to explain this, i can do tantrums, i was just asking why no matter how big i take em i still slightly under rotate them, thats what the sequence was for |
